Tokyo Style

It's all finally go at FATEWear, Damien Fate's new menswear brand.  For those that for some reason have missed the noise about this launch, Damien is one of the awesome Cold Logic crew designers...so much expectation has been building about the release.

So this morning, I have been wandering around the Virtual Asia Sim for a bit breaking in this suit and eating Takoyaki.

I have quite a lot of suits.  About 15 are non-mesh (my favourites were from Aoharu and Hoorenbeek).  I now have around 8 or 9 mesh suits from most of the designers that make one.  I think this is odd as in RL I make a point of avoiding wearing suits whatever the occasion.  Just another sign of being perverse I guess

The FATEWear suit stands out for me particularly in terms of the way its worn: jacket, shirt, tie, pants are all different mesh parts.  This means that it's more adaptable than some from other brands.  I like the way it works when you are sitting as well as standing (though I still can't do a monkey crouch in it without looking a bit odd...although I don't know why I would want to do that).

In terms of the texture: I like the faint pinstripe on the jacket and, most of all, I like the creases and folds.  The suit I am wearing here is in the Desert tone (with a Volcano coloured tie)

Right..more from FATEWear soon, but now I need to go and drink some virtual Shochu and play some harcore Chō-Han. With Hello Kitty.
